Wyatt Brand’s Spring 2015 Exhibition

 

Wyatt Brand presents Erin Edwards, painter. Exhibit opening: April 2, 2015

Erin describes her artwork as the expression of her lifelong need to know and understand others profoundly. She is moved by everyday objects and scenery that bear the imprint of human use and movement. Her own and others’ children appear frequently in her work as she believes that children enact all of life’s dramatic moments on a daily basis, providing timeless imagery of the human condition. Prior to painting, Erin studied psychology and trained to be a therapist. In her painting of people, places, and things she seeks to provide the recognition of basic and unique humanity while also making herself known to others.
